I never imagined the Foundation would become what it is today; in notes of constant surprises, the organization continues to grow. Considering my fashion, design, and entrepreneurship background, the wave of change has been immense and rewarding. There is peace in this work, in what I do, and in how I show up for the work. There is happiness in the knowledge that I can contribute towards the good of those around me, however small my step seems in the scheme of things. Rooted in the values that make us human, we continue to remain active with our goals.
In the end, I would like to take the opportunity to sincerely encourage everyone listening to come forth and contribute to the welfare of our society in every little way that is possible. Positive changes lie in the little steps you take to do something for someone. This is perhaps God’s work; I am convinced.
